With a background in entrepreneurship and finance, Hani specializes in the development of P3 projects, corporate restructuring, policy reform, and the management of economic change.

A highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in the development of major transit projects, Amin Kawar, is Toraza’s Chief Training Officer. Amin’s background in strategic P3 transport projects is complemented by his strong academic interests, having held teaching positions at the German Jordanian University and Logistics Institute in Canada.

With a career heavily rooted in education, Alyssa has a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in marketing, communications, administration, and management across several sectors, including energy, technology, and education. As the Operations Manager, Alyssa oversees all of Toraza’s daily operations, ensuring systems, processes and training programs are running smoothly and efficiently

Maurice Diamond

Director, PPP Services (EMEA)

An experienced PPP advisor, trainer and coach, Maurice was one of the first APMG accredited Certified CP3P trainers and is certified to train at all three levels. Maurice is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy with a degree in Economics and Public Administration from London University.

Joining Toraza’s Advisory Board in June 2022, Rory brings over a decade’s international business experience.

Through his current position as Director of Global Engagement at the G20 Global Infrastructure Hub (GIH), Rory is the lead for creating partnerships to facilitate sustainable, resilient, and inclusive infrastructure across G20 countries and the private sector. He has held senior government and private sector roles Australia, Canada and the United States, and was a former civil servant and diplomat at Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Ibrahim is the Founding Director of the Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM) program at the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University.

He is a unique combination of a strategist, academic, innovator, and entrepreneur. His work seamlessly merges the worlds of industry and academia, spans the global construction market, and provides leading construction firms with unique market insights; growth strategies; and advice on digital transformation and technological trends that are reshaping the construction industry.

Gilles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA, International Business from McGill University.

Christina Vickery

A Certified P3 (Public-Private Partnerships) Professional (CP3P) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Christina has 14 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry. Christina holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering – Structural and Geotechnical from McMaster University.

Juan Umaña

Associate Accredited Trainer (Spanish)

 With more than 25 years of experience, Juan has a strong understanding of PPP delivery models and structuring project agreements (P3 & traditional) for infrastructure projects. He is an Accredited Trainer for APMG’s CP3P Foundation program and delivers Toraza’s specialized P3 programs in Spanish. Juan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master’s Degree from University of Western Ontario in Canada.

FERNANDO SALAS

FERNANDO SALAS

Associate Trainer (Spanish)

 Fernando is an experienced Corporate Manager with Bell Canada’s Mobility division, where he has led and contributed to many cross-functional initiatives in sales, finance, marketing, IT and commercial operations for the past 25 years.

He is a sought after international public speaker and part time professor at two local Colleges (Humber and Sheridan) focused in shaping tomorrow’s leaders in Strategic Management and Technology.
